You can use a shake as a meal replacement for any meal. You can also have a shake as a snack between lunch and dinner if you need it. This is especially helpful as your body is adjusting from burning sugar for fuel to burning fat instead. Dr. Anna prefers for us not to eat snacks regularly so add more fat to your meals if you find you are still hungry and eventually, you shouldn't need to snack at all. And by the way, there is ONE recipe in the book that uses the shake powder and is NOT a smoothie: the Yogurt Bowl with Keto-Green-Ola on page 243 of Keto-Green 16. It's an easy no-cook recipe that takes only a few minutes to assemble so if you find you are not drinking any smoothies/shakes, you could try this recipe to use some of your shake powder.
