I can’t get alkaline no matter what I do. What do you recommend?Updated a year ago
Please note that it may take much longer to achieve alkalinity than it does to even reach ketosis. For Dr Anna that is the most important thing- achieving alkalinity! But note that it takes some time and patience and sometimes lifestyle factors like reducing stress or worrying that you are not alkaline yet- :) can hinder that process!
Dr Anna says on page 53 of The Hormone Fix "only about 25 to 50 percent of becoming alkaline is dietary; the other 50 to 75 percent is influenced by lifestyle factors. These factors include your level of hydration, how much you sleep and exercise, how positive you are (and, conversely, how stressed you are), how often you have bowel movements, and how much you are in touch with nature (getting natural light, walking barefoot, and so forth)."
Mighty Maca Plus is also helpful. It is so very alkalizing and I would highly recommend it as the product to try if you would like to improve your alkalinity, along with the Keto-alkaline/Keto Green shake. https://drannacabeca.com/collections/keto-green
Also, please try 🦋 The Girlfriend Doctor's Alkaline Booster:
1 scoop Mighty Maca Plus
1 tsp - 1 tbsp Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4-1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2-1 tsp lemon juice
8 oz filtered water
👉 Most people get an alkaline reading within 2 hours, but it may take a bit longer for some.
So repeat this every two to four hours (not more than 3 times in one day) until your alkaline reading begins to turn that beautiful shade of green!
