Julva Amount and How to Apply

How much Julva do I use?

Please begin using Julva® at ⅛ tsp (0.5ml) every day.  We recommend getting an ⅛ tsp measuring spoon from the kitchen and using that the first few times until you have a visual of the right amount. ( please see the image below). Some women will need

How should I apply Julva?

Can I place Julva inside the vaginal canal?

Julva is for external topical application only, around the vulvar tissue, and is not intended to be inserted into the vagina. It is, however, safe for all of your skin.

Does it matter when I apply it (morning or night?) Can I apply it prior to intercourse?

Apply it daily at any time of the day that works for you. Many women do well applying it first thing in the morning. It is not harmful in any way to your partner. Note that Julva is not a spermicide and does not provide protection against pregnancy.

Can Julva be used during my period? Can using Julva cause a delay in my menstrual cycle onset?

Yes, Julva can be used during menstruation. Although, we have not received any feedback relating to shifts in cycles while using Julva. Should you have specific concerns, please discuss with your primary care medical doctor.

How to use Julva and Balance together

The suggested use for Julva is to use it in the morning. The suggested use for Balance cream is to use it at night. However, everybody is different and there is no 'one size fits all" approach for the best time of day to use Balance and Julva cream.
